EUG Lanchpad Accepting Applications

Onward Eugene, a local economic development nonprofit, is now accepting applications for their no-cost, accelerator program called EUG Launchpad. The 12-week accelerator helps entrepreneurs launch their startup and is now offered in-person on Wednesday evenings from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Innovation Hub @ 942 Olive. The class curriculum originates from MIT, Stanford and YCombinator, and helps entrepreneurs advance from an idea and business model to launching their first products into a target market.

Only offered twice a year, the accelerator begins on July 20, and the application deadline is July 13.

Participants will have the opportunity to work with mentors with specific skill sets based on the participant’s identified need. Participants will also learn how to pitch to investors, competition judges, and a community audience as a means of demonstrating they have been able to coalesce everything they’ve learned into an appealing, fact-supported presentation.

Onward Eugene is committed to inclusivity and has partnered with Relief Nursery to provide free on-site, respite childcare for program participants during classes.
