Falling Sky Reopens Offering DIY Kits and Delivering Beers

For Serenidy Pries, head chef at Falling Sky Brewing, one of the best parts of working in an open kitchen restaurant, where customers can see the cooks and vice versa, is watching someone take that first bite of food — seeing someone close their eyes, completely absorbed by the moment, and then nudging a friend to try a bite.

“That’s hard, to know that that might not ever be a thing again,” said Pries.

Something new is emerging from the changes restaurants are facing. With the help of community partners, Falling Sky reopened its deli on Blair Boulevard on Friday, but with many changes to its process. The brewery will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
