SparkLab Expands STEM in Lane County

When Connected Lane County launched SparkLab this summer, the organization envisioned hosting a large community open house and celebration in the fall to welcome the wider community into the space. SparkLab staff was excited to show everything that had happened during the summer months and celebrate all of the amazing things youth created and learned during their time utilizing the space.

Due to public health concerns, Connected Lane County made the tough decision to cancel this event. In lieu of the open house. Connected Lane County created a short video to share everything that’s happened and everything to come.

Located in downtown Eugene, SparkLab is a central hub for Lane County youth to learn, innovate, collaborate, and create. Providing extended out-of-school education and training opportunities for STEM and much more, youth can grow their skills, become confident problem-solvers, and gain hands-on experience.
