Eugene’s Sweet Cheeks Winery Partners with Marcus Mariota

Former Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota is getting into the wine business and he's doing it in part to help the Eugene-Springfield community in the process.

Mariota and his foundation - Motiv8 - will be pairing up with Eugene-area winery Sweet Cheeks to help support the communities in the area, Mariota's foundation announced. The two organizations will be helping people as everyone is feeling the impact of the global pandemic COVID-19.

Ed Nishioka, Director of Motiv8 Foundation discussed the announcement through a press release published by Mariota's foundation.

“We are very excited to partner with such a community minded company as Sweet Cheeks Winery,” Nishioka said. “The Mariota family and Motiv8 are dedicated to helping the underserved communities in Oregon. Our partnership with Sweet Cheeks is a real boost in assisting us with our mission. We look forward to helping the community with Sweet Cheeks now and in the future.”
