D4JVTmKy.jpg

Who:

Leaders of organizations representing the diverse sectors, people, regions, and foci that represent the maker movement. These are leaders who:

  • Run or organize spaces (hackerspaces, makerspaces, biospaces, FabLabs, etc)

  • Organize events (hackathons, maker camps, workshops, summits, meetups, fairs, etc.)

  • Represent organizations that support the maker community (for-profit, non-profit, educational, government, or institutional)

  • Come from education, the arts, music, design, science, technology, engineering, medical innovation, culinary arts, agriculture, defense, economic and workforce development, community revitalization, and manufacturing.

What:

An annual national gathering to provide maker leaders an opportunity to learn from and collaborate with peers and to help the maker community grow and thrive. Join us to network, share ideas, identify resources, share your story, collaborate with business, educational institutions, and community partners.

Where:

Online this year!

Why:

Maker leaders rarely have an opportunity to step back and thoughtfully consider how best to support the community they are creating, engage in relationship-building across lines of regular conversation, and build a connected community throughout the local and national ecosystem of maker- supporting entities. Attend NOMCON, and be inspired, be acknowledged, be connected, be engaged.
