Eugene-area businesses are encouraged to apply for the 2021 Mayor’s Bold Steps award. The Bold Steps program recognizes companies that inspire others with their innovative policies while supporting both their staff and the environment with a commitment to triple bottom line decision making.

Each Bold Steps finalist receives a professionally produced video that promotes their sustainability efforts. The award winner also receives a locally made finial engraved with their company logo to display atop the Bold Steps trophy at their business for one year in addition to free marketing support from the City of Eugene.

The 2020 award winner, Yogi Tea, was announced by Eugene’s mayor, Lucy Vinis, at the annual State of the City address in January and was celebrated alongside the 2020 award finalists, Marley’s Monsters and Feynman Group.

Businesses that would like to apply must complete a free certification though BRING's Rethink program and complete a short online application that can be found at www.eugene-or.gov/boldsteps

Applications are due by 5 PM, September 15.
