Alesong Wins 3 Medals at 2022 Best of Craft Beer Awards
Eugene’s Alesong Brewing & Blending won three medals at the Best of Craft Beer Awards. The international competition recognizes outstanding beers in 55 categories with professional judges sorting through a double-blind competition of over 2,700 entries from nearly 500 breweries located in 49 different states.
Showing their breadth of expertise, Alesong took home medals across three categories -
Silver for their wine-beer hybrid, Terroir Project: Antiquum Farm in the Spontaneously Fermented Beers category
Silver for Touch of Brett, their perennially-award-winning, hoppy farmhouse ale, in the Brett Beers category
Bronze for Framboise, their tart ale co-fermented with locally grown biodynamic raspberries, in the Fruited Mixed-Culture Beers category
“We’re of course thrilled to be recognized alongside all of these other amazing breweries” said Brian Coombs, Alesong cofounder and production manager. “The level of beer quality at these competitions continues to be more and more elevated and it’s a real tribute to our production team that Alesong beers consistently stand out!”
All three beers are currently available for tasting at Alesong’s downtown tasting room in the Fifth Street Public Market (12-8 Mon-Thu, 12-10 Fri/Sat) with bottles of Touch of Brett and Framboise also available to go.
