“I had first learned about Eugene while shopping at natural-foods grocers in Southern California. As a private chef, I would spend hours every week seeking out the best ingredients available, and many of my favorites were produced in or around Eugene: Nancy’s Probiotic Foods, Coconut Bliss, Mountain Rose Herbs, Surata, Toby’s, Blue Lotus Chai, Singing Dog Vanilla, Mycological ... I was seeing “Made in Eugene” on so many packages!”
