Eugene: The Perfect Place

Micah Elconin, Director of Eugene’s Table, most recent column in the Register Guard highlights how he discovered the the Greater Eugene area and why he thinks its the perfect place to operate a food or beverage company.

“I had first learned about Eugene while shopping at natural-foods grocers in Southern California. As a private chef, I would spend hours every week seeking out the best ingredients available, and many of my favorites were produced in or around Eugene: Nancy’s Probiotic Foods, Coconut Bliss, Mountain Rose Herbs, Surata, Toby’s, Blue Lotus Chai, Singing Dog Vanilla, Mycological ... I was seeing “Made in Eugene” on so many packages!”
