Updates on Temporary Event Licenses for Food Vendors

Lane County Environmental Health has begun accepting applications for food vendors at events and festivals.

Licenses can be purchased by credit card by calling 541.682.4480.

The County asks that you contact their office by phone and pay for your application at least two business days in advance of your scheduled event to assure that we are able to issue your license in time. If you mail your payment, please do so at least one week in advance.

After you submit your application, inspectors will contact you to provide guidance and support and to schedule a time for your inspection. Staff is taking extra precautions to protect you and the public. Please understand that during this time, inspections must be scheduled in advance at a time prior to the event opening to help assure safe physical distancing and opportunity for consultation. Staff will be wearing masks and keeping safe distancing and ask that you do the same. A failure to be present at the scheduled time or to meet requirements could prevent your license from being issued.
